Changing the Minnesota Summer LCM State Championship


To improve the quality of the meet, legislation has been proposed to change the LCM State Championship. Your comments and feedback is important.

Read the Legislation and corresponding comments. If you would like your comments posted, send them to the webmaster. Your name, club, and your position in the organization (i.e. athlete, coach, parent, etc) will be included. Make sure your coach and board representatives hear your thoughts.

My thinking is that we move the 1500 time finals to Wednesday late afternoon. That is about 3 hours of time that we would save on Sunday afternoon. That would mean the least amount of kids would have to show up a day early for the meet with additional expense of overnight accommodations and meals. If we realign the other events that should help get us out of the pool at a reasonable time each night allowing for dinner and a good nights sleep for our athletes.
