Information and Results Instructions: |
| To
ensure the meet results are processed and posted in a timely manner,
follow the steps outlined below - especially the pre-meet athlete
registration procedures. If you have questions regarding the pre-meet
steps, contact Cassy Shapley

Meet Information (3-4 weeks before meet):
Once
approved by the MSI Office, send an electronic copy of your meet
information to the MSI Webmaster.
Keep this file simple (avoid tables, images, etc. which enlarge
the file size) because the webmaster converts it to an ADOBE pdf
file for easy viewing and printing. |
Team
Manager Event Set-up File (3-4
weeks before meet)
To ensure the club entries are consistent, set-up your meet in Meet
Manager 4 weeks in advance. You will need the Order of Events from
MSI. When the meet set-up is complete, create an Event File
used by clubs to set-up the meet in their Team Manager software.
Create
this file by going to the following location in Meet Manager:
FILE > EXPORT > EVENTS
FOR TM
Meet Manager will guide you through several dialogue boxes. After saving
the event file, e-mail that file to clubs and the MSI
Webmaster to post on the Minnesota Swimming website. |
| Meet
Manager .sd3 file (4-6 days before meet)
To ensure the Meet results are processed smoothly into SWIMS,
athlete registration should be verified before the meet.
To
obtain: FILE > EXPORT
> USS REGISTRATION.
The file name will be sdifxxx.sd3. Do not send roster-only meet
file.

| Time-line
(4-6 days before meet):
Send after you have finalized the meet. This info is
important for clubs competing in the afternoon sessions.
Before creating this report, you will want to confirm the session
name, seconds between heats, etc. that is found under (EVENTS
> SESSIONS)
To
generate the Time Line, in Meet Manager go to:
REPORTS > SESSIONS
In the dialogue box, Click Select All, Include
Event Start Times, Include event and heat counts,
Include * type entriess, Flat HTML
